Itinerary

Day 2: Sankri to Gangad and Trek to Devsu Bugyal
Drive: 18 km | 1 – 1.5 hrs |
Trek Distance: 9–10 km | 5–6 hrs

A short drive takes you to Gangad, the starting point of your trek. The trail gradually ascends through dense deodar forests, mountain streams, and charming Himalayan hamlets. You'll reach Devsu Bugyal, a picturesque Campsite surrounded by peaks like swargarohini and kalanag in the Ruinsara forest.Upon reaching through a trail surrounded by alpine meadow and several waterfall crossings Dinner followed by an overnight stay

Day 1 (Pick-up Day): Drive from Dehradun to Sankri
Duration: 9-10 hours |
Drive Distance: 196 km

Adventure begins with a scenic drive from Dehradun to Sankri, a quaint village nestled in the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary. The route winds through beautiful hill towns, pine forests, and along the river Yamuna and Tons. Sankri, surrounded by towering peaks and dense forests, is the base camp for the Har Ki Dun trek and offers stunning sunset views. Overnight stay in a guesthouse or homestay.

Day 3: Devsu Bugyal to Bosolo
Trek Distance: 7 km | 4–5 hrs

The trail from Devsu bugyal to Boslo offers a gradual ascent through alpine meadows, rhododendron forests, and scenic river crossings. Along the way, you'll spot snow-covered peaks and cascading waterfalls. Boslo, your campsite for the night, is located in a peaceful clearing surrounded by majestic mountains — perfect for stargazing and soaking in the tranquil vibes.

Day 4: Boslo to Har Ki Dun and Back to Boslo
Trek Distance:8km round trip|6–7hrs

This is the most awaited day of the trek! You’ll hike to the breathtaking Har Ki Dun valley, a cradle-shaped haven surrounded by snow-clad peaks like Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and Black Peak. The valley is steeped in mythology, believed to be the route taken by the Pandavas to reach heaven. Enjoy some peaceful moments by the Har Ki Dun river and soak in the surreal landscapes before returning to Boslo for the night.

Day 5: Boslo to Seema
Trek Distance: 8–9 km | 4–5 hrs

Begin your descent toward Seema, retracing parts of the trail through lush forests and across wooden bridges. The trail is dotted with wildflowers and chances to spot Himalayan birds and langurs. Seema is a peaceful riverside campsite where you can relax to the sound of the flowing stream under a star-studded sky.

Day 6: Seema to Gangad and Drive to Sankri
Trek Distance: 7–8 km | 3–4 hrs Drive Distance: 18 km | 1–1.5 hrs

Today you’ll complete the final stretch of your trek, descending through the forested trail back to Gangad. After a short break, drive back to Sankri. Celebrate the completion of the trek with your fellow trekkers, reliving the highlights around a bonfire or cozy evening meal.

Day 7: Sankri to Dehradun
Drive Distance: 220 km|Approx.10 hrs

After breakfast, you’ll drive back to Dehradun with memories etched in your heart. As you leave the mountains behind, the incredible landscapes and cultural richness of Har Ki Dun will stay with you forever.
